- * RELEASE NOTES:
-
- Last week I went to see the X-Men movie and I couldn't stick my thumbs
- up high enough. It was great! I know basically nothing about the X-Men
- besides the fact that its something I know basically nothing about,
- but I've had heaps of requests for a screen saver. I had a look round
- after seeing the movie and found nothing but boring looking slide shows.
- (I didn't actually download any tho so if you wrote one and are
- offended by the term "boring looking slide show" please don't take it
- personally. I'm not talking about yours..)
-
- Anyway, I really liked the map table effect in the movie and decided
- to try it out. It worked well and looked wicked but it was slower than
- giving birth to a fully grown goat. So I fiddled with it and ended up
- with this. It really looks more like an ice formation now but I still
- think it looks kinda cool, even if it is really just another slide
- show...
-
- As always email me if you like it, hate it, ate it for breakfast etc.
-
- Btw, this is still kinda slow if you don't have a 3D accelerator card.
- But try it out and judge for yourself.
-
- Enjoy!
-
- P.S. This uses the continuingly wonderous OpenGL graphics library. If
- you're using an old version of Windows 95 you may need to install them.
- But fear not, you can get them from our good *cough* friends at
- Microsoft:
-
- ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/opengl95.exe
-
- You'll know if you need it because you'll have emailed me without
- reading this complaining that you're getting DLL errors.....
